Basement, Easter, and girly things...

Sam has been working really hard on getting our basement finished so we can move on to working on the nursery. He is working with a good friend who does professional carpentry and they are putting in 9 hour days to get this done. It looks amazing so far and though it's been a lot of hard work it will be worth it in the end. The woodwork is almost done and we get to start looking at carpet this week.

Celebrating Easter was so nice this year. Once again we combined families and this time celebrated at my parents home. It's so wonderful to have 2 families get along so well and will be fun that the cousins will be able to spend holiday's together. My mom always has a fun time setting the dinner table and everyone brings their favorite dish to pass. As usual everyone outdid themselves and we all ate too much! This Easter was special to us since we know we are having a daughter. Though she is still "baking" it didn't matter to everyone else - she was showered with pink girly gifts already!
