Spring!

Spring kicked into full gear following Noah's birthday! Easter was the following weekend and the weather was gorgeous! It couldn't have been a better day to celebrate our Risen Christ! My mom's 2 brothers were in town from Connecticut and Canada and we had a low key day celebrating at my parents after church.

Sam's cousin and family came to visit and Lauren just LOVED playing with other little girls!!!

Lauren helped plant some flowers and was so excited to see them grow

Lauren's preschool class hosted a special mom and child breakfast the weekend before mothers day. Lauren had been talking about it for days and was so excited to perform that morning. Her class sang songs, recited special things they learned during the year, and even got a special gift and diploma for completing their first year. I'm so happy that Lauren has enjoyed preschool and really loves her teacher Mrs. Stearns.

Mother's Day was perfect! We went to church and then Sam took over while I indulged in a pedicure (2 years overdue!) and 2 hours of relaxing shopping! After shopping my parents and brother came by for a bit for dinner and dessert. It was a wonderful day! Being a mom is one of the hardest but one of the greatest joys ever imaginable!
