Sam and I decided to take a trip to Disney World before we had kids to enjoy the adult side but still be kids together. We had a great time and do look forward to enjoying it through our kids eyes someday. Disney was offering great deals online so our stay (which was upgraded to Saratoga Springs Resort and Spa), meals, transportation, and all 4 parks were included. The weather was great though it was hot and humid and we didn't have to stand in any lines because most kids are back in school. Our favorite park was Epcot, and my next favorite was Animal Kingdom. Sam really enjoyed Hollywood Studios Tower of Terror and Rockin' Rollercoaster (we rode 2 times in a row). It was exhausting at times because of the heat and all of the walking but we did spend some time by the pool and exploring other resorts. I think we saw and did everything we wanted to and look forward to coming back someday to enjoy it in a new way.
Veyr nice photographs of your Disney vacation. Gr8 idea to have an "adult only" Diseny foray before the half dozen times that you'll be there with the little moppets someday. At that time, it'll be hardder to have beer in your water bottle. lol
ReplyDeleteDisney World is such a FUN place! I love seeing your "safari" pictures! They did a great job, too, of manufacturing a realistic looking baobob tree. Even at our age, we'd like to go back again sometime (maybe with the grandkids??)
