Lauren celebrated her first Easter in style. My mom bought an Easter dress for her a couple of weeks back and maybe I'm bias but she was the cutest all dressed up! We started the day off with breakfast and relaxing at home as a family. After Lauren napped we met my parents, brother and grandparents at church for the Easter service. Both of our families combined together for lunch, Easter baskets, and dessert at Sam's parents home this year. We just love the fact that our families get along and are so willing to celebrate certain holidays together! Despite Lauren deciding to skip her afternoon nap she did great and enjoyed playing with her cousins, being held and spoiled by everyone, tasting pork tenderloin (which was amazing), mashed potatoes and asparagus as well as sherbet and cake! It was a great day and as always went by so fast! To fathom the pain of giving your first born as a sacrifice has a new meaning and deeper appreciation now that we're parents. Thank you Father for what you have done for us.
It was so hard to get a good picture because it was too bright outside.
Cousins! The best one we could get!
Enjoying a little swinging!
