Vegas!

Sam and I took a much needed get away this past week for 4 days. It was nice not having to worry about a nap/feeding schedule and to just enjoy each other. Other than a night here or there we haven't been away from Lauren this long but it was perfect because she stayed with my parents who she's very comfortable with. I don't think she missed us very much! Our trip didn't include much as far as gambling went but was a more sight seeing/show/sleep/relaxation type of trip. We walked a lot taking in all the sights and little performances that went on. My feet and legs were not happy with me by the end of the trip mostly because of a night walking in heels (my bad). We saw the show Love by Cirque du Soleil which was amazing, ate a really expensive but best steak I've ever had at a place called Strip Steak, enjoyed really good gellato from our hotel, and actually got some pool/sun time in (water temp was set at 85 degrees). The weather was awesome around 70 and sunny every day which felt so warm to us. We agreed that we were out of our "element" in Vegas but non the less we enjoyed just being together and relaxing.
