Halloween was super fun this year and the weather turned out better than expected (about 50 and sunny!). We got the kids in their costumes right after nap time and headed out. Lauren seemed to understand the concept much more this year and had a blast going door to door. Despite practicing saying "trick or treat" and "thank you" she was pretty much silent each time while holding up her bag for candy. Can't blame her though with all these strangers :) Noah hung out with mommy or daddy taking in the sights of princesses & pirates running around. Once we got home Lauren handed out a few pieces but was much more interested in trying some of her own! We figured Halloween is once a year so why not let her indulge (it takes her 30 minutes just to eat a candy bar anyway!).

Noah also had fun checking out her loot and even got a taste (thanks to his big sister) when mommy wasn't looking.
All in all I think Lauren had a blast and mommy and daddy enjoyed ourselves as we took in the memories in the making!
