We celebrated Easter all week long starting with an indoor Easter egg hunt at a local church. I took Lauren while Sam stayed home with Noah while he napped. They took us on a scavenger hunt through room upon room that we had to find and then Lauren had to find 1-2 eggs of a certain color before heading to the next room. This mama was exhausted (and so was she) by the end of going up and down 2 levels! Very fun though :) They also had doughnuts, drinks, and entertainment. I think we'll go back next year!

The following day we went to my parents house to celebrate Easter since my dad was scheduled to fly Easter day. Lauren was spoiled with another Easter egg hunt and plenty of other goodies! We had a nice German meal and Noah even took a wonderful long nap giving this mama a break :)

We ended up going to church the day before Easter at a 4pm service which worked out well for our family. Afterwards my grandparents, brother and parents came over for chili.
On Easter morning Noah slept in until 7:30 which gave Sam and I time with Lauren to do our own little Easter hunt, color eggs, and make resurrection rolls (here's a link to what it's all about) :

It was a nice morning at home before heading over to Sam's family for more Easter & family fun. We enjoyed a yummy meal and then once again... another Easter egg hunt and MORE candy... Most of the candy from this week went to work (thankfully Lauren is still young enough not to notice)!
I am just so thankful for my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and that he made such an incredible sacrifice for us. There are just not enough words.
